Alright, so the countdown for the video for “The Communist” has been a little shorter than we've originally planned, but we just didn't want to wait any longer ourselves. So check it out!

Propaganda…

Wednesday, 03/08/2006

…is the title of the EP we’re gonna release end of April! Of course we don’t want you to wait too long until our album is going to be out, so we’ve decided to record a few more songs and release them on CD. Right now Tommy Hansen is probably sitting at his mixing desk in Denmark to get the songs rockin’ and rollin’.

But that’s not all: We’ve already told you about the video for “The Communist”, and until it’s finished you can listen to the full-length version of the song. Speaking of songs, why don’t you listen to the new mix of “Who’s to say” as well, because it really kicks butt!

Dacia & The WMD 2006

Thursday, 02/16/2006

Hello, dear Weapons fans and new ones to come.

We would like to start off by wishing you a great 2006. May you stay in the best of health and keep rockin!

2005 was a very… let’s say encouraging year.

We had to say bye to our drummer Till Hartmann and in return got a new one, Alex Menichini, who made an incredible entrance…

We also recorded our record which was a real treat. We went into the Institut für Wohlklangforschung studio in Hannover with producer Ace from Skunk Anansie and Inner Mantra and engineer Willie Dammeier. For mixing we are proud to say we have Tommy Hansen who did a great job. Of course we are very pleased with the outcome.

We got to play club shows and some festivals with some very influential bands and at the same time had a lot of fun getting drunk too!

Also, we had the opportunity to make a music video for our track “The Communist” with Captain Karachoo who did a fantastic job and who we believe will be hittin’ up the rock music video world very soon!

All in all we survived 2005 and the ball keeps rollin’… Like AC/DC said: “It’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll.” Hands up to that!

Last but not least we want to thank everyone for their support because that’s what keeps the boat rockin’ and the rock rollin’. RESPECT!

2006 has started and we want you to keep your ears and eyes open. We will keep you updated the best we can for the record and we will soon announce a countdown for the showing of “The Communist”.
